What we process

x402sms is designed for anonymous, account-free use. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no personal data collection.

• Wallet address (payer) — visible in payment settlements, stored with the activation record for accounting
• Activation data — service, country, ordered phone number, received SMS codes, and payment transaction hashes, kept for operation and abuse prevention
• IP addresses — processed transiently for rate limiting; not persisted in our application database (standard web server logs apply)
• No cookies on the API; the website uses no tracking cookies

What we don't do

• We don't ask for names, emails, or phone numbers
• We don't sell or share data with third parties, except: the payment facilitator and the Base blockchain process your payment (public ledger by design), and number suppliers process activation requests
• We don't read SMS content beyond delivering the verification code to you

Retention

Activation records (including codes) are retained for operational integrity and dispute handling, and may be purged periodically. Signed payment payloads are deleted once an activation reaches a terminal state.
